We are excited to share a new opportunity to serve within the Awakening Together community!
After many years, the Movie Watcher Group has come to a natural completion. In its place, the Trustees have approved the exploration of a new monthly offering: “Movie Time”—a shared movie experience with optional reflection and discussion.
To bring this new program to life, we are forming a subcommittee, chaired by Rev. Yolanda Mapes, and we are seeking volunteers to help shape and support this offering.
What the Subcommittee Will Do:
The group will collaborate to develop a proposal for how “Movie Time” will be offered, including:
- Schedule and timing
- Host coordination
- Movie selection
- Playsheet format (if used)
- Discussion structure
This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute creatively and help design a meaningful community experience from the ground up.
Additional Notes:
- Some guidelines have been developed to help with the ongoing admin support of the program.
- Volunteer admins will help support the ongoing operation of the program
