Registration is now open for our 2026 Ajijic Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Pilgrimage in Mexico, October 29–November 8, 2026.
During this sacred season of remembrance, we will journey together through Ajijic, Chapala, Ixtlahuacán, Jamay, Etzatlán, Tlaquepaque, and Guadalajara, sharing daily spiritual practice while exploring altars, sacred spaces, artisan culture, music, hot springs, markets, and the beauty of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in community. Highlights of the pilgrimage include:
Day 1: Arrival in Ajijic with Welcome Reception
Day 2: Awakening Heart Sangha Visit + Community Gathering
Day 3: Goat Farm + Chapala for pre-Day of the Dead Decor
Day 4: Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) Day 1
Day 5: Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) Day 2
Day 6: Foco Tonal (energy vortex) + Historic Jamay
Day 7: Wednesday Market + Hot Springs + Namaste Village Visit
Day 8: Guachimontones Pyramids + Etzatlán for Cielo Tejido (Woven Sky)
Day 9: Tlaquepaque
Day 10: Guadalajara + Closing Dinner
Day 11: Return Home

Pilgrimage Retreat Fee (USD) — Airfare Not Included
- Lodger (Shared Room): $1,525 per person*
- Lodger (Single Room): $2,450 per person
- Commuter (No Lodging): $550 per person
*NOTE: Shared lodging is $1,525 per person. Most shared rooms have two equivalent beds. A small number of rooms have a king bed plus a single bed. If you are assigned the single bed in a king+single room, you will receive a $150 credit on your pilgrimage fee. Room assignments are finalized after registration closes.
Included in the retreat fee (high level)
- Lodging with breakfast for overnighters (breakfast is not included for commuters)
- Meals included: 4 dinners + 1 lunch + 1 snack
- Lunch, if desired, on your own most days
- Transportation during the pilgrimage (and airport transfers for lodgers at scheduled time)
- Included experiences: goat farm tour, hot springs day, Guachimontones admission + guide, and group activity at Awakening Heart Sangha
