We are thrilled to announce that Kim Last and Al Kreinberg will join us as our new retreat house caretakers for the 2026 in-person retreat season!
Kim and Al bring with them a wonderful mix of adventure, service, and experience.
Kim has spent much of life traveling the world—at times living on a bicycle or a sailboat! Now a retired Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Kim stays active teaching yoga two to three times a week and enjoys hiking, biking, rafting, camping, knitting, and spending time with their cat, Tip.
Al is a retired educator with 37 years of experience, specializing in work with high-risk populations. For over 40 summers, Al also worked as a whitewater raft guide on the Colorado Plateau, gaining deep experience in outdoor leadership, food preparation, and river life. Al is especially looking forward to spending this summer in La Veta.
The in-person retreat season at our retreat house in La Veta, Colorado will officially begin in mid-May.
