Below is a list of current volunteer opportunities. Review the list and determine where your talents and skills can best be used. Then, use the contact form to offer your volunteer service in that area.

Podcast Posting – If you talent lies in curiosity, learning or exploring technology we’d be delighted to train you on posting recordings to podcasts. We have 3 active podcasts at the moment which require about an hour a week to post.
Outreach – A member or group of members to work together developing and implementing outreach on behalf of Awakening Together. Outreach includes areas like the Retreat House, retreats, Gentle Healing and the Minister’s Preparation Program (MPP).
Movie Discussion Group – A member or group of members who is willing to find movies that provide insight and wisdom regarding the spiritual journey and suggest those movies to the Movie Discussion Group for the monthly movie.
Musical Artists – Anyone who feels to share their musical talents with us via the Sounds of Awakening program that takes place on pre-determined Sundays scheduled by Rev. Yolanda Mapes.
Original Awakening Together music – A group of members who are willing to write and record original music for Awakening Together that is in harmony with Awakening Together’s purpose and core values.
Fundraising – A member or group of members to work together developing and implementing fundraising campaigns for Awakening Together and the Awakening Together Retreat House.
Prayer Ministry – Ministers who are willing to pray privately over prayer requests received through Awakening Together. Ministers who volunteer for this position will first complete a self-study course about the Prayer Ministry.
Sanctuary Assistant – Interested in helping out as a backup sanctuary administrator? This opportunity might be for you.
Inspirational Articles – Any member who is willing to write an inspirational article or poem about his/her spiritual path, inspiration, challenges, and/or clarity.
