Join us at 10:15 am ET/ 8:15 am MT for Our Weekly Sunday Gathering with Rev. Jackie Walden
Title: “Traveling the Underground Railroad to Inner Freedom”
Description: Harriet Tubman who was born enslaved was an American abolitionist and social activist. Tubman was also known as the “conductor” of the Underground Railroad which was used as a route to free enslaved people. In the book: The Spirit of Harriet Tubman: Awakening from the Underground” by Spring Washam, Tubman teaches us there’s another Underground Railroad that operates through the mind and moves through consciousness. Rev. Jackie Walden takes on a journey towards inner freedom through the inner Underground Railroad.
Reading: Rev. Tawonda Chase will read “The Inner Underground and the Promise of Freedom” from The Spirit of Harriet Tubman: Awakening from the Underground written by Spring Washam.
