When we look into a mirror, we see a reflection that appears separate from what is real — yet the reflection cannot exist without its source. In the same way, consciousness reflects the truth of what we are. This retreat invites you to turn toward that reflection, to look deeply into the nature of “I,” and to rest in the awareness that precedes all identity. Through guided contemplation, diagram-based inquiry, meditative silence, and reflective dialogue, participants will explore:

  • The meaning of Self Inquiry as taught by Ramana Maharshi, åWu Hsin, and Nisargadatta Maharaj
  • The I-I reflection — how Source expresses as consciousness and how identity forms through the “I am” doorway
  • The difference between awareness, consciousness, and the mind’s projections
  • How to work with Free Will and Karma as conscious choices rather than destiny
  • Practical tools for meditative contemplation, including diagramming quotes and the three-step practice Karen describes

This retreat is not about adding new beliefs or techniques. It is an experiential turning toward what has always been here — the silent presence aware of itself. All are welcome, whether you are new to Self Inquiry or have been walking this path for many years. “When the mirror is still, the reflection reveals what has never been hidden.”
