Ian McArthur’s program normally takes place on the first Sunday of the month. However, Qigong: “The Movement of Now” will be on October 23rd just for the month of October. The program will resume its normal schedule in November.
Ian’s program is a live and interactive Qigong session. He leads those who wish to participate in this experiential practice step-by-step. Qigong celebrates the traditional Mind, Body, and Spirit. Qi means life energy, referring to the energy circulating through the body, and Gong means cultivation or work. The two words are combined to describe a practice to cultivate and balance life energy. By following movements (forms) and a simple breathing technique, we encourage more Qi to flow which in turn allows us to feel more peaceful and at One with ourselves.
