How to Train Your Dragon (2010) will be our movie for the month of September.
Please note, that this is the original (first) film in the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy. All three films have been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature
Follow the adventures of the young Viking named Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, son of Stoick the Vast, leader of the Viking island of Berk. Although initially dismissed as a clumsy and underweight misfit, he soon becomes renowned as a courageous expert in dragons, alongside Toothless, a member of the rare Night Fury breed as his flying mount and his closest companion. Upon becoming leaders of their kind, Hiccup and Toothless are forced to make choices that will truly ensure peace between people and dragons.
As you watch with Inner Wisdom, what is helpful for you will naturally pop out. A taste of what can be contemplated include:
Recognizing and following one’s inner calling by listening to the True Inner Voice even when it means letting go of a self-concept and opening to the unknown, true forgiveness, and the development of trust. You are invited to notice if there is a desire to believe that there are good characters and bad characters. Characters and stories within the story indicate many desires, such as the desire to be right, to be in control, to keep things the way they are, or to desire for something to be different than it is. Notice how consciously or unconsciously choosing desires for particular experiences affects the characters.
This movie is available on Amazon Prime, Apple iTunes, YouTube, Vudu, DIRECTV, Microsoft Store, Redbox, Google Play Movies, Amazon Video, and AMC on Demand.
