During our Weekly Gathering on September 14, Rev. Regina Dawn Akers introduced a new resource: the Living Inquiry Guide. We are happy to let you know that this guide is now available for everyone to download on our website under Resources > e-Books.
The Living Inquiry Guide is designed to support anyone drawn to direct self-inquiry, whether you are new to the path of awakening or deepening into insights that go beyond words. It offers:
- Simple, structured practices — from short daily micro-inquiries to 30-minute, 1-hour, and extended sessions.
- Practical guidance on how to rest in awareness, work with resistance, and allow questions to dissolve the sense of “I.”
- Daily life integration so inquiry becomes a living, breathing practice in ordinary moments—while cooking, in conversations, or even during quiet pauses.
- Encouragement to follow intuition rather than rigid rules, allowing the practice to naturally adapt to your unfolding.
At its heart, this guide reminds us that awakening is not about achieving something new but uncovering what has always been present. Inquiry is not about finding the “right” answers but allowing each question to gently reveal the awareness that you are.

We hope this guide serves as a helpful companion in your journey of living inquiry.
