These quotes came from James Swartz:
“Love is what you pay attention to “
“Love is willingly attention “
Can you add insight and or examples to this?
Thank you ☺️
Where will you put your attention? Attention is focused love i.e. when you give all your attention to your pet, in that moment you are loving it. A partner gets upset if you don’t give them attention, they feel unloved. In this week’s weekly gathering 2/17/19 “Do you know who you are without thought”, Regina said, “ Devotion is re-training attention to stay in”. This relates directly to James Swartz ‘s quotes above. Ellie Roozdar told me, “ what do you want?....bring attention to the Existence that is here, claim it. These words are powerful when taken to the heart and realised. By turning within you have to quiet the mind as it is the mind that has all the beliefs. The fastest way to transcend the mind is through s/Self- inquiry . This is where free will comes in . You can direct attention back onto yourSelf or keep it bouncing around in the world, from one object to another, from one thought to another, this is a scattered mind.
