At this meeting Regina, Jacquelyn and Doreen discussed how ministers and members can come together to support Awakening Together and each other as our Association moves in a new direction. Regina discussed the transition of our Association from what has often been a leader driven group to one that is led through the inspiration and innovation of its many ministers and members. Doreen Bonnet shared the 6 inclinations for ministers to help you to discern your part in this journey as we step forward into this exciting next phase of Awakening Together.

Also, discussed at this meeting was the launch of a volunteer button on the menu bar of our website. There is a whole list of volunteer opportunities for Awakening Together members and ministers to participate in and a contact form if you feel guided to volunteer.

The Special Member Meeting was to help you decide who you want to vote for.

This year, members will elect two people to the Member Board of Trustees. Ballots have been emailed to members as of June 25, 2019. If you don’t find the ballot in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folder. Each member will have two votes. Members may vote anytime between June 25th and July 9, 2019. Voting will close at 5 pm ET/2 pm PT on July 9, 2019.
