The information session was designed for anyone curious about what a Sangha-Led Retreat is, how it works, and whether participating in or co-creating one feels aligned. It explored the purpose, format, and spiritual potential of our first-ever in-person Sangha-Led Silent Retreat.

About the In-Person Sangha-Led Silent Retreat
This retreat would be collaboratively created and led by the Sangha, offering a shared space for silence, spiritual practice, and connection at the Awakening Together Retreat House in La Veta, Colorado.
Silence may include many expressions, such as meditation, hiking, dyads, stillness, contemplation, and the simple joy of being. These are examples — the retreat will be shaped together by those participating.
Purpose of Sangha-Led Retreats
Sangha-led retreats invite participants to cultivate humility, surrender, and trust through lived experience. By learning directly from what arises in real time, participants deepen personal realization while contributing to the shared spiritual growth of the community.
In this way, we embody the core qualities of an effective sangha:
-
Living the spiritual teachings
-
Sharing from authentic experience
-
Supporting one another on the spiritual path
