Revs. Helen Avery and Doreen Bonnet hosted a book club for the book The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
The book tells the story of Nora Seed who finds herself in the Midnight Library – a library between life and death with an infinite number of books, each one providing a chance to try another life she could have lived.
Faced with the possibility of changing her life for a new one, following a different career, undoing old breakups, realizing her dreams of becoming a glaciologist; she must search within herself as she travels through the Midnight Library to decide what is truly fulfilling in life, and what makes it worth living in the first place.
The book touches on themes such as regret, grief, and acceptance and is full of inspiring quotes.
