Our Member Board of Trustees and Board of Directors have nominated and elected Rev. Beverly Toporowski to serve on the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is our senior board, which oversees the operation of the Member Board of Trustees. The Board of Directors is also responsible for approving Policies & Procedures, for hiring employees and for Awakening Together’s Budget.

Beverly ToporowskiRev. Beverly has been with Awakening Together since 2016. She was elected to the Member Board of Trustees in June of 2019. Her service as a Trustee has been invaluable. We anticipate a similar experience in her service on the Awakening Together Board of Directors.
Rev. Beverly was introduced to this community through the MPP program, and Gentle Healing shortly thereafter. She is an Awakening Together Minister, a Gentle Healing 3 graduate and she frequently leads our Weekly Gatherings.
Rev. Beverly notes that Awakening Together has been a vital part of her spiritual journey. She studied and graduated from the Barbara Brennan School of Healing which is a four-year training program that looks at the psychology of illness through the energy field. Rev. Beverly studied Science of Mind and is a Science of Mind practitioner. She read and studied A Course In Miracles along with the Teacher’s Manual. Her spiritual journey has involved sharing what she learned through inner guidance– a series called Healing through Consciousness, which combined The Power of Now, A Course in Miracles and energy healing principles as it relates to both of these. Rev. Beverly notes that as a family physician this path has deeply affected how she practices medicine as well as how she sees “healing.”
