I immediately thought of the retreat house for a 3 night four day stay to support me during a Soul Quest Ceremony I was undertaking for a PhD in psychology program I am exploring. I needed Solitude, yet within a spiritual container to hold space for this sacred journey. Jane Marie and Pieter were not only helpful in arranging all I needed, they made it easy. From the initial email to set up my personal retreat right up to the final day and a travel mug of hot tea for the ride home, I was nourished and nurtured.
The stillness at the retreat house has it’s own tone of brilliance that is astounding. I melted into the silence as it held me and assisted me in my trek into the underworld. The day after my Quest at Great Sand Dune National Park, which was a beautiful one hour drive away, I needed natural space for a time of transition back into the middle world and was able to walk the land right out the front door of the retreat center around two lovely lakes that emanated the energy of peace and well being. Not to mention the views of the Sacred Spanish Peaks.
I felt fully received. All this, not to mention a soft warm bed, hot shower, and fantastic home style meals in a clean and inviting environment. On the third day when I was ready to break Silence they invited me for a lovely Sunday dinner to “break bread” with them in union and communion. I highly recommend letting them help you find the perfect personal retreat for you.
