Introduction to the Minister Preparation Program is a free SELF-STUDY forum-based course and the first class in Awakening Together’s Minister Preparation Program (MPP).
This course will be available via the forum. As a self-study course you will have one week to complete it. The course will be offered April 3-9, 2023. The facilitators for this course are Revs. Kate Brennan and Susan Telford.
Introduction to MPP must be completed before you can be accepted into MPP. The purpose of this class is to teach those who feel they may be interested in becoming an Awakening Together minister about Awakening Together, the Minister Preparation Program and the responsibilities of an Awakening Together minister. If, after completing this self-study course, you feel you want to become an Awakening Together minister, you may apply to join the Minister Preparation Program. In order to be accepted into MPP, you must become a member of Awakening Together. If you are not a member but you are interested in being an Awakening Together minister, you can become a member now. If you would like to take MPP courses, but are not interested in becoming an Awakening Together minister, you do not have to take the introductory course or be accepted into the MPP program. Those who wish to become a minister will have priority for available classes.

The first MPP course, True Discernment, will be offered in the forum. The course will begin April 17, 2023.
If you complete Intro to MPP and are not interested in being an Awakening Together minister, but are interested in taking True Discernment, you will be able to take True Discernment if it is not filled by MPP participants.
