Awakening Together Satsang with Bhante Wimala
Here’s the morning meditation audio by Bhante: listen to audio
Anne Blanchard interviewed Bhante Wimala for our Awakening Together Guest Satsang on February 16, 2020.
Venerable Bhante Y. Wimala has been a Buddhist monk for 47 years, known throughout the world as a compassionate spiritual teacher and tireless humanitarian, with projects and teaching programs all over the world.
Unlike most monks who wander in their homelands or live ascetically in monasteries, Bhante has been called to spend his life traveling around the world to teach and to heal and to bring peace to the people of our planet. He has forged friendships across the globe and has been involved in numerous projects involving restoring entire villages in Sri Lanka ravaged by the tsunami and war, earthquake relief in Haiti and Nepal, and cyclone relief in Bangladesh. He personally oversees countless projects across the globe, especially in Africa and Asia, to restore eyesight, bring medical supplies and wheelchairs where there were none, educate youth, build orphanages and hospitals, bring water to villages high in the mountains of Nepal which were cut off after the earthquake, create job training for women, homes for the homeless and bring hope to prisoners and suffering individuals around the world.

2/12/20 ~ Regina & ‘I Am That – Human Consciousness
Regina Dawn Akers started reading the conversation dated January 20, 1981 from Consciousness and the Absolute.
Jacquelyn Eckert – As It Is, “Choosing Clarity” ~ 2/12/20
Rev. Jacquelyn Eckert shares with honesty and passion about the ups, downs, and all-around of the spiritual journey. Jacquelyn is transparent as she shares about the impersonal awakening process we all experience. She moves us with stories from her own journey, with direct insight from inner wisdom and with guidance from spiritual masters, both contemporary and legendary.
Gentle Healing Year 3 With Regina-Week 159- 2/11/20
Regina Dawn Akers guides a group of committed students who would like to make consistent, gentle progress toward genuine peace, joy and love.
New Consistent Gentle Healing Year 3 Begins February 25
A new Consistent Gentle Healing Year 2 group will begin on February 25 and meet each Tuesday at 9-11am ET/ 7-9am MT in the Awakening Together Sanctuary. The group will be facilitated by Anne Blanchard.
The Gentle Healing Curriculum guides committed students to make consistent, gentle progress toward genuine peace, joy and love. Year 3 is based on The Seven Steps to Awakening.
Everyone who is willing to make a commitment to awakening is invited to join an online Gentle Healing group or go through the curriculum as self-study.
Gentle Healing Year 1 and Year 2 are prerequisites. We do not recommend Year 3 for anyone who has not completed Year 2. It would be beneficial to attend the final Year 2 meeting on February 18 if you plan to begin Gentle Healing Year 3 on February 25, since the first Year 3 homework will be assigned on February 18.
There is no need to register for this group. Just join us in the Sanctuary on Tuesday mornings.
