“What sustains this constant state of wanting is the belief that we can get – somehow, somewhere, someday – what we want. And even more than that, that when we get it, it will make us happy, finally, forever. The closer we get to Truth, the more paradoxes there seem to be. Simply getting what we want doesn’t necessarily make us happy. That condition that we seek is an already existing condition. And even though it is already existing, we seek it, and our seeking obscures it. Not just spiritual seeking, every kind of seeking.
“Liberation is the cessation of the seeker, the seeking, and the sought. It is the end of struggle, separation, and fear. It is beyond all experience and the experiencer thereof. Liberation is what you were born to realize. It is the nature of your own Self.” Adyashanti
