- Close your eyes.
- Feel your current emotion or remember a time that you felt the emotion that is assigned for today.
- Write down what the current emotion feels like in the body or write down what you remember feeling regarding the assigned emotion. If the assigned emotion comes up as you recall it, write down what it feels like now.
- Write down some of the thoughts you are having regarding your current emotion or write down thoughts you remember having regarding the assigned emotion. If the assigned emotion comes up as you recall it, write down the thoughts you are having now.
- If the emotion lingers, take time to allow the emotion to move through you as if you are a superconductor. If it’s helpful, you can review the superconductor process starting at 13:25 in this video.
- When this exercise feels complete, move on to the reading.
