Day 49 Assignment
This evening (or tomorrow morning):
- Read NTI Matthew 20 (v20-23) through the end.
- Make a list of the people who are special to you (that is, favored by you).
- Make a list of people who do not hold a favored place in your heart.
- Look at each name on each list, and say to yourself, “The Spirit of God is one.” Say this once for each person on each list.
Tomorrow:
Look for opportunities to serve others today. Some examples of service include listening to them without being distracted, doing things their way instead of your way, spending time with someone who may be lonely (either in person or by phone), being kind to people you usually do not notice, giving money or other goods, performing a task for someone, etc. As you serve others, remember they are the Self.
