Day 442 Assignment
This evening (or tomorrow morning):
Read NTI 1 John 2 (v12-14) to the end of the chapter.
Tomorrow:
- Set a timer for the amount of time you want to meditate, and then meditate with this Awareness-Watching-Awareness audio.
- Find time to sit quietly and search your mind for any situation or circumstance that upsets you. Write down each upset that you find. When you feel the list is complete, practice the following steps with each situation, one at a time:
(a) Accept your feelings about that situation. When you feel you have fully accepted your feelings, and you no longer resist or judge how you feel, move to the next step.
(b) Love your feelings about that situation. When you feel love for how you feel, move to the next step.
(c) Accept the situation exactly as it is without wishing for anything to be different. When you feel you have fully accepted it as it is, and you no longer resist or judge how it is, move to the next step.
(d) Feel love while holding the image or thought of that situation or circumstance in your mind. When you feel you can remain as the presence of love while holding this situation in your mind, move to the next circumstance on your list and go through steps a-d with that.
