Day 192 Assignment
This evening (or tomorrow morning):
- Read NTI John 3 in full.
- Contemplate this paragraph from today’s reading and write down the clarity that comes to you through this contemplation: “Men judge the world and one another, and they condemn what they see, but in their condemnation they fail to see as the Light sees. It is the Light that sees truly, for the Light sees as God sees. And so men must be mistaken in what they see and in what they think. Therefore, the judgment of man is meaningless. All that is meaningful is the vision that comes of the Light.”
Tomorrow:
- Set a timer for 15-30 minutes and focus on being. If you would like to, watch this video as you practice the meditation: Snow Falling on Lake
- When you notice a judgment in your mind, regardless of whether it is a self-judgment, a judgment of another person, or a judgment against a circumstance:
(a) Say to yourself, “This judgment blocks the light.”
(b) Look to see if you can notice that the judgment is self-centric, biased, closed-minded or mistaken.
(c) Say to yourself, “I forgive myself for not seeing more clearly. I am willing to see as the Light sees.”
(You may always select another meditation video from this playlist.)
