Title: “Accepting Your Expression of the Atonement”
Description: Rev. Jacquelyn shared how the Atonement is merely a “correction” of the impossible thought of not-God. It can be said, symbolically, that we are living in the space between the impossible thought and its immediate correction. Thus, “Your mind and your life in the world are an expression of the Atonement.” Because the outcome of the seeming journey of the One Mind is certain, the flow of the universe (or of God) is always ever and only the flow towards Oneness, Wholeness, and Healing. Because the individual body-mind-personality is the thought of not-God that never was, there can be no individual will, as separate and apart from the One Will toward correction despite our insistence to the contrary. Accepting the Atonement for oneself is, thus, a matter of recognizing your part in the universal flow and learning to relate to yourself as merely that expression.

Rev. Jacquelyn’s Message From Inner Wisdom:
Accepting your Expression of the Atonement
The Atonement is merely a “correction” of the impossible thought of not-God. It can be said, symbolically, that we are living in the space between the impossible thought and its immediate correction. Thus, “Your mind and your life in the world are an expression of the Atonement.” Because the outcome of the seeming journey of the One Mind is certain, the flow of the universe (or of God) is always ever and only the flow towards Oneness, Wholeness and Healing. Because the individual personality is the thought of not-God that never was, there can be no individual will, as separate and apart from the One Will toward correction despite our insistence to the contrary. Accepting the Atonement for oneself is, thus, a matter of recognizing your part in the universal flow and learning to relate to yourself as merely that expression.
The individual will never awaken: the awakening is awakening from the belief in the individual (not God). If this is true, how can we ever measure the “progress” of the individual towards awakening? That one cannot awaken. Rather, as Spirit, we can learn to appreciate the seeming individual expression of the awakening or atonement as it is expressed through the body-mind-personality with which we most closely identify as our self. It would be a miracle, indeed, if an individual “awoke”. What would it awake to? It could only ever awake to the knowledge of its lack of existence. So let’s start there. Let’s go ahead and make the assumption that you don’t exist. Doesn’t that make questions along the lines of “how am I (the individual) doing” quite absurd?
At the same time, let us acknowledge that all suffering is brought about by our identification with (belief that we are an) individual self. Doesn’t recognition that there is actually no separate person remove the cause of suffering? Isn’t the only practice then to root out and unbelieve those thoughts where we are identifying with the individual person? What if we were to identify with the flow instead. What if our only job were to allow everything that is appearing as part of the flow or the expression of the atonement instead?
From this vantage point, it is easy to see that there is nothing to gain and nowhere to go. If this moment and every aspect of it, including how I am showing up (or what thoughts led me to this very moment in time) are a part of the flow towards correction – an expression of the atonement – what else is there to do but to love, accept and allow what is?
For instance, to think, “oh, I shouldn’t have judged him/her/myself” is to entirely miss the point. Judgment is what showed up. Shouldn’t I love that as an expression of the flow toward correction? The thinking mind would argue that if we all go around just allowing whatever shows up, we never correct anything.
Our only choice (read free will) is our choice as to how we will experience what shows up. This choice then becomes part of the everything that creates everything and allowance becomes the predominant way of being. This complete allowance thus completely undoes fear, resistance, lack, limitation, or, in other words, undoes the tiny mad idea of “not-God.”
