One of the most difficult temptations to recognize is that to doubt a healing because of the appearance of continuing symptoms is a mistake in the form of lack of trust.\u201d (ACIM Manual for Teachers)  Fear and lack of trust occur when we believe that anything other than God&#8217;s power can result in healing of either the body or the mind. Any other means of healing represents a reliance on magic and the illusory world and can never work perfectly.  Jesus from ACIM reassures us that healing asked for is healing received.
