{"id":43677,"date":"2019-11-22T23:10:40","date_gmt":"2019-11-23T06:10:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/awakening-together.org\/dev2\/?p=43677"},"modified":"2019-11-13T08:31:42","modified_gmt":"2019-11-13T15:31:42","slug":"gentle-healing-year-1-lesson-267","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/awakening-together.org\/dev2\/gentle-healing-year-1-lesson-267\/","title":{"rendered":"Gentle Healing Year 1 ~ Lesson 267"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>What is the Body?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since we have been contemplating this special theme, we have looked at several ways the body deceives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It seems like life-awareness is a byproduct of the body\u2019s physical processes.<\/li>\n<li>It appears that \u201cmy awareness\u201d and \u201cyour awareness\u201d are separate.<\/li>\n<li>The body dies, which seems to prove that we are not the one awareness that is eternal nature.<\/li>\n<li>The body emphasizes duality and differences because it can be healthy or sick, fit or injured, strong or weak, etcetera.<\/li>\n<li>The body acts out thoughts that are believed, which gives those thoughts more apparent reality.<\/li>\n<li>When we are identified with the body, it seems like we experience the world and duality directly, and we are affected by them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our special theme says, \u201cMade to be fearful, must the body serve the purpose given it.\u201d And in most cases, it does.<\/p>\n<p>However, our special theme goes on to say, \u201cBut we can change the purpose that the body will obey by changing what we think that it is for.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Today, please contemplate the purpose you would like the body to obey. Also, contemplate how the body can be used\/moved differently in order to follow that purpose.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My heart is beating in the peace of God.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Earlier in Gentle Healing, we created visualization plans for ourselves. We contemplated those plans for 6 weeks. Similarly, today\u2019s lesson is a visualization plan. Notice it is written in present tense, as if it is already lived.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeace fills my heart, and floods my body with the purpose of forgiveness. Now my mind is healed, and all I need to save the world is given me. \u2026 I am the messenger of God, directed by His Voice, sustained by Him in love, and held forever quiet and at peace within His loving Arms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If this vision feels right for you, contemplate today\u2019s lesson throughout the day as it is written. However, if you feel called to a different vision, write your own vision, and contemplate it instead. You might feel called to spend a day with the vision that you wrote previously, when we spent 6 weeks with our visualization plans, or you might feel called to a completely new vision that feels right for you now.<\/p>\n<p>Remember to write your visualization plan in present tense language.
