The power of decision is my own.<\/h4>\n<p>We contemplated Michael Langford\u2019s theatre analogy along with Lesson 151. Today\u2019s workbook lesson looks at a difference between the theatre analogy and our experience with the world. In the theatre analogy, people are born in a theatre and mesmerized by the film, but they have nothing to do with creating the film. As today\u2019s workbook lesson points out, we are each \u201cco-creator of the universe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s lesson begins, \u201cNo one can suffer loss unless it be his own decision. No one suffers pain except his choice elects this state for him. No one can grieve nor fear nor think him sick unless these are the outcomes he wants. And no one dies without his own consent.\u201d And it continues by saying, \u201cAnd it is only here salvation is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Just like with Lesson 151, today\u2019s lesson is clear that \u201cwhat is false is false.\u201d That which we co-create through the power of our decision is not true and it does not change truth. However, our decisions are the source of the illusion that we find ourselves so mesmerized with. We learned this when we studied and contemplated <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drivehq.com\/file\/df.aspx\/publish\/RAkers\/RDAPublicFolder\/RDA-HolySpiritGuides\/New\/The%20code.pdf\">The Code<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Lesson 152 says, \u201cNothing occurs but represents your wish, \u2026 You may believe that this position is extreme, and too inclusive to be true.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Over the next two days, we will look at this lesson in a very <em>practical<\/em> way. We will watch for decisions that we make that shape our individual experience. Many of these decisions seem unconscious until we watch for them, and then we see that they are made both consciously and repeatedly.<\/p>\n<p>Here are few examples of the types of decisions you may see yourself make as you watch for the decisions that shape your experience.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t want to do this.<br \/>\nI hate \u2026 (traffic, this heat, mean people, stupid people, myself, etc.)<br \/>\nI will never be able to \u2026<br \/>\nI don\u2019t have enough \u2026<br \/>\nI\u2019m tired of this.<br \/>\nHe\/she is \u2026 (annoying, wrong, stupid, lazy, etc.)<br \/>\nI\u2019m so \u2026 (stupid, lazy, ugly, etc.)<br \/>\nI have too much to do.<br \/>\nThey think \u2026 about me.<br \/>\nThis situation is unacceptable.<br \/>\nI\u2019ll be happy when I get \u2026<br \/>\nI\u2019ll be safe when I get \u2026<br \/>\nI won\u2019t ever \u2026 (understand this, be able to do this, get to go there, etc.)<br \/>\nNo one ever pays attention to me.<br \/>\nThis always happens to me.<br \/>\nThis is too good; something bad is going to happen next.<br \/>\nThis isn&#8217;t fair.<\/p>\n<p>As you watch for the decisions you make, notice both the decisions and <em>how those decisions affect your experience<\/em>. Ask yourself, \u201cIf I made a different decision about this, how would my experience be different?\u201d Look both at the circumstance and your emotional experience to see if you can find <em>at least one way<\/em> your experience would be different if you made a different decision.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lesson 152.
