{"id":31768,"date":"2018-07-14T01:50:11","date_gmt":"2018-07-14T07:50:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/awakening-together.org\/dev2\/?p=31768"},"modified":"2018-07-05T07:46:37","modified_gmt":"2018-07-05T13:46:37","slug":"day-172-tip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/awakening-together.org\/dev2\/day-172-tip\/","title":{"rendered":"Tips from Regina ~ Day 172, NTI 1 Corinthians 13"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday\u2019s tip ended with:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">You do not want Love different than it is, for as it is <em>is \u00a0<\/em>Love, and Love is all you truly want.<\/p>\n<p>What is Love?<\/p>\n<p>There are 21 definitions of \u201clove\u201d on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dictionary.com\/browse\/love\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dictionary.com<\/a>, and none of those definitions define \u201cLove\u201d as it is meant when it refers to reality.<\/p>\n<p>The reason none of the definitions accurately define Love is because nearly all of the definitions in the dictionary are based on duality, the love of one for another, whether that is the love for another person or another thing. The only exception is the definition of &#8220;love&#8221; as it is used in tennis. In that case, love is \u201ca score of zero; nothing.\u201d Interestingly, that definition comes closest to Love.<\/p>\n<p>The best way to define Love is:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Openness or the all-inclusive nature of emptiness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Its opposites are judgment and division.<\/p>\n<p>People often ask, \u201cWhy does God allow\u2026?\u201d as if there are some circumstances that God should reject.<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s reading says:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The reason for all things is Love.<\/p>\n<p>Or said another way, God is the openness or the emptiness that enables and allows all things. As emptiness, it is incapable of rejection. It is as the Tao Te Ching says in verse 11:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We shape clay into a pot,<br \/>\nbut it is the emptiness inside<br \/>\nthat holds whatever we want.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We hammer wood for a house,<br \/>\nbut it is the inner space<br \/>\nthat makes it livable.<\/p>\n<p>Emptiness does not reject or obstruct anything.<\/p>\n<p>Emptiness enables and allows all things.<\/p>\n<p>Love enables and allows all things.<\/p>\n<p>The mind judges and divides. The mind cannot know Love.<\/p>\n<p>Only emptiness can know Love. Only emptiness knows emptiness. If it is not empty, it is not Love.<\/p>\n<p>The ego may suggest that emptiness is an uninteresting neutrality\u2014a kind of \u201cblah.\u201d That is not true, which is why emptiness is called Love. However, to know Love you must become Love. Only through the direct experience of being it can you know it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Everyone who loves has been born of God\u00a0and knows God.\u00a0Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. \u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">God is love.\u00a0Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
