On Day 74<\/a>, we saw that Love is life-awareness. The light is also life-awareness. Love, light and life-awareness are synonymous.<\/p>\n

On Day 74, our tip said:<\/p>\n

When NTI says that our Father is the extension of Love, it means that life-awareness is the only present reality. We are asked to see anything that isn\u2019t love (life-awareness) as meaningless and valueless.<\/p>\n

Since everything is life-awareness in reality, what isn\u2019t life-awareness?<\/p>\n

Mental interpretation isn\u2019t life-awareness. We are to see mental interpretation as meaningless and valueless.<\/p>\n

That is the essence of today\u2019s reading too. Today\u2019s reading teaches that everything is light. If we do not see only light, it is because we choose not to see it.<\/p>\n

Some of us may think that we do want to see everything as life-awareness, but NTI is clear that if that were true, we would see that way. Since we don\u2019t see that way, it means we don\u2019t want it as much as we think we do.<\/p>\n

This points to a core problem:<\/p>\n

We may think we value truth,
\nbut what we really value is our thinking.<\/em><\/p>\n

Every time I believe a judgment in my mind about anyone or anything, I choose my thinking over truth.<\/p>\n

Every time I think thinking is the answer to a problem I perceive, I choose my thinking over truth.<\/p>\n

Every time I think I know or understand something based on my thinking and my past experience, I choose my thinking over truth.<\/p>\n

This has been pointed out to us before. On Day 79<\/a>, our tip said:<\/p>\n

It\u2019s important to be clear that if it were not for the mind, our truth would be obvious to us. This is important, because humans tend to value their mind above everything else that they value. That means that we put the obstacle to truth above everything else in our list of \u2018What Is Important to Me\u2019.<\/p>\n

The false self is made up of thought. If we value our thinking, we value our false self.<\/p>\n

What we truly are is freedom. If freedom chooses to value a false idea about itself, freedom sees falsely. That is the essence of freedom.<\/p>\n

In order to see truly, we must value truth over falsehood. That means we must value the presence of life-awareness as everything \u00a0<\/em>over thinking, which defines everything differently.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
