From November 2 – 16, we volunteered with Global Volunteers in Chennai, India. We worked in two orphanages, South East Asia Mission (SEAMs) and Assisi Illum. We also worked in a private school for the poor, Christ the King School.

Part 2 Summary
On November 16, we traveled to Tiruvannamalai for celebration of Deepam. Each one followed his/her own guidance regarding what to do while we were in Tiruvannamalai, but some of the activities group members participated in include walking around Arunachala with thousands of Indian pilgrims, visiting Ramanashram, climbing to the top of Arunachala to see the Deepam fire close up, and getting nice, long massages.
