Amy Torres is a well-loved spiritual teacher, Gestalt psychotherapist, and author of Sweet Dreams of Awakening: 365 Good Night Blessings. In 1998, after faithfully practicing all of the lessons in the workbook practice in A Course in Miracles, Amy had a spiritual awakening.
Amy’s work takes an experiential approach to spirituality. It’s not enough to read mystical texts, and it’s not enough to understand them intellectually. There is a felt-experience in the body that confirms you seem to be in the world but are not of it.
This experience lights up your path, makes you feel light-hearted, helps you recognize the Bright Presence of your Inner Teacher, and clarifies what being a miracle receptor and transmitter feels like.
She currently writes the popular Ask Amy column in Miracles magazine, and co-hosts a weekly radio show called Pure Presence: Herein Lies the Peace of God with Bill Free on Unity.fm.
