The movie for this month's movie group is a favorite, Revolver, directed by Guy Ritchie. To the casual observer, it seems to be a crime-thriller involving gangs, gambling, cocaine trafficking, a high-stakes heist, murder and revenge. However, to the discerning spiritual student, it is one of the best films ever made about letting go of ego and awakening to pure, undisturbed peace. One spiritual commentator nicknamed Revolver as "The Formula to Enlightenment." Even if you've seen this movie before, we recommend watching it with subtitles on so you don't miss a thing. We will discuss Revolver on Sunday, January 27, so you've got plenty of time to watch it more than once before Movie Discussion Group.
