“When I try to control, I get attached to how I think it should play out; I think that I know the best way for things to happen. But many examples in my life have shown that when I trust and let go of thinking I know best, the outcome is better than anything I could have imagined. Letting go doesn’t mean giving up the desire, it means letting go of the struggle. It’s exhausting needing to be in control all the time, isn’t it? And the truth really is that any sense of control that we think that we have is false anyway.” Sheila Viers

“We should always try to be active coming out of Samadhi. For this, we have to forget things like ‘I should be mindful of this or that.’ If you are mindful, you are already creating a separation (‘I-am-mindful-of-…’). Don’t be mindful, please! When you walk, just walk. Let the walk walk. Let the talk talk. Let the eating eat, the sitting sit, the work work. Let the sleep sleep.” Muho Noelke

“Isn’t it extraordinary to realize that a mere shift in attention will produce the life experience we choose? We don’t have to get rid of people, move, change jobs, rob a bank, or run off to parts unknown. Everything in our lives can be exactly the same, and, with that shift in attention, everything in our lives is completely different.” Cheri Huber
This meeting covered Chapter 5 of “How to Live a Life that Knows Only Love.”

“Once you realize that the road is the goal, and that you are always on the road, not to reach a goal but to enjoy its beauty and its wisdom, life ceases to be a task and becomes natural and simple. In itself an ecstasy.” Shri Nisargadatta Maharaj
