Awakening Together member and dear friend, Lynn Turner, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 3:47 pm ET. Darcy and Glenn, Lynn’s children shared in the Sanctuary on January 19, 2020 about Lynn’s recent passing. Many beautiful blessings occurred before Lynn left her body behind. Regina Dawn Akers, Sharon Slyter, and Jay McCormick also shared some beautiful memories about Lynn.
This is the recording of the first two hours of the Fall Retreat that was broadcast live in the Awakening Together Sanctuary. It includes an interview with Brian Tom O’Connor, the author of a book called Awareness Games: Playing with Your Mind to Create Joy.
Brian Tom O’Connor is an actor, theatre director, cabaret performer, and formerly depressed guy who stumbled onto the source of joy and happiness in the background of all experience. He is not an enlightened person, which, in fact, is a good thing, because if someone as imperfect and flawed as he is can find it, so can you.
So try the games and make up your own. Experiment. See what works for you. It’s all about your direct experience. Play with pure awareness and discover the background of all experience, where happiness is hiding in plain sight.

Rev. Jay McCormick interviewed Rev. Jacquelyn Eckert, who is the Vice-President of Awakening Together. Jacquelyn answered questions based on reflections from her own personal journey and how being the Vice-President of Awakening Together is currently speeding up her growth and healing in the areas of Awakening to the One True Self.
You may know Ron from his ongoing program called A Journey Beyond Words that is on the first, third, and fifth Wednesday of each month at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT. Ron shared from his heart about what is happening right now on the spiritual path for him. The main message was to have perseverance and patience and no matter what, ‘keep on keeping on’.
Recently, Regina and Jacquelyn met with our friends at the Teachers of God Foundation so Regina could explain the RAT (Rest, Accept and Trust) practice to their audience. If you are unfamiliar with the practice or would like a refresher, please see the links below.
Shawna Summers shared about her recent insights into the April Dyad retreat that she attended in La Veta, Colorado that was facilitated by Anne Blanchard and Rev. Jacquelyn Eckert.
Rev. Kelly Barber shared about her journey in what consistent-gentle-healing means for her and her insights along the way so far in Gentle Healing Year 1, a class that is being offered in 2019 by Rev. Jacquelyn Eckert and Connie Poole.
Kathy teaches weekly in the Sanctuary on Wednesdays from 2pm to 3pm ET. Her program is called “No Fluff”. Kathy reads from There is Neither I nor Other Than I, there is only by A Ramana.
Kathy is also one of the new members of our Board of Trustees.
Helen teaches weekly in the Sanctuary on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 7pm ET. Her program is called “Life As Love”. Helen shares candid experiences from her path of awakening. Drawing on the words of Mooji, Regina Dawn Akers and other non-dual teachers, she shares the love and fear that arises as she commits to a practice of Self-inquiry, contemplation and listening to inner guidance.

Jacquelyn leads our Gatherings and our “Movie Watchers Group on the fourth Sunday of each month, our Satsangs on the third Sunday of each month and teaches twice weekly in the Sanctuary. On Tuesdays from 7-8pm ET with her sister Connie Poole with their program, “Growing with NTI” and on Wednesdays from 3-4pm ET, with her program “As It Is” where she shares with honesty and passion about the ups, downs, and all-arounds of the spiritual journey. Jacquelyn is transparent as she shares about the impersonal awakening process we all experience. She moves us with stories from her own journey, with direct insight from inner wisdom and with guidance from spiritual masters, both contemporary and legendary.
Jacquelyn is our Vice-President Minister and is on our Member Board of Trustees.
