Previously, we announced that lodging at the Retreat House was full for the upcoming Self-Inquiry Dyad Retreat in La Veta, Colorado. However, due to a cancellation, we now have room for one woman to stay in the Ladies’ Dorm.

The Ladies’ Dorm is a sweet space with three uniquely decorated partitioned rooms. Each room has one extra-long twin bed, a dresser, chair, mirror, reading lamp, clothes rack and humidifier.

The Self-Inquiry Dyad Retreat will be held April 15-19, and it is facilitated by Anne Blanchard and Jacquelyn Eckert with an introduction by Regina Dawn Akers.

We are offering Volunteer Scholarships for the 2019 Fall Retreat. We have 2-3* scholarships available:

• One scholarship for the Self-Awareness Retreat from October 20-26, 2019.
• Two scholarships for the Satsang & Sangha Retreat from October 27-November 1, 2019.

*It’s possible for one person to receive a scholarship for both retreats.

Volunteers will receive a full scholarship, which includes retreat, lodging and meals. However, the scholarship does not include transportation to and from the Retreat House. You will need to arrange your own transportation.

Volunteers will assist our Retreat House Caregiver, Shiryl Kaplan, with light housecleaning and meal preparation. Volunteers may need to miss some portions of the retreat in order to be helpful.

We seek volunteers who are active Awakening Together members and who would not be able to attend the Fall Retreat if a volunteer scholarship wasn’t provided. Eager willingness to assist Shiryl as she creates a loving and supportive retreat environment is also needed. Volunteers must be able to arrive at the Retreat House the day before the retreat they will support begins and must be able to stay through the end of that retreat.

The purpose of this retreat is to help you take your next step with God (with Truth), whatever that next step may be for you. This retreat is for everyone on a spiritual path or embarking on a spiritual path, regardless of your current level of skill, insight or awareness.
 
 
At this retreat you will have ample time to go within through reading, contemplation, journaling and meditation while also having the opportunity to sit with Regina Dawn Akers in question and answer sessions each day. Private, personal guidance will be available for anyone who feels assistance is needed to reach a deeper quality of Truth/God awareness.

Through rotating periods of silence and purposeful conversation, you will have the opportunity to probe deeper into spiritual intuition, emerging from your exploration with greater clarity and insight.

Optional silent outings in beautiful Colorado are included as part of this retreat.

Retreat Schedule

The retreat will begin at 10am on Monday, May 13 and end at with lunch on Friday, May 17. The exact retreat schedule during the week will vary each day and will be announced on a day-by-day basis. However, we will start no earlier than 9am each day, and we will end by 6pm each day. Lunch will be served daily. The retreat is facilitated by Regina Dawn Akers.

If you are lodging at the Retreat House, we recommend arriving in La Veta on or before Sunday, May 12 and departing on or after Saturday, May 18. All guests are welcome to stay at the AT Retreat House for up to 28 days. Longer stays are possible with permission.

This retreat is for everyone interested in an extremely deep experience of self-inquiry, regardless of whether you are new to self-inquiry or you’ve been practicing self-inquiry for years.

Psychologists have discovered that dyads (two people sharing in a structured way) are a powerful way of going deeper within one’s self in order to see that which is beyond one’s daily conscious awareness. At this retreat, we will utilize this same practice for the purpose of awakening.

This is a structured, silent retreat led by Anne Blanchard and Jacquelyn Eckert with an introduction by Regina Dawn Akers.

We’ve made a few changes to the Audios & Videos menu on the Awakening Together website. The changes were made with new visitors in mind. We reorganized the menu so they can find their way around more easily.

Weekly Gathering Audios – These audios are now under Audios & Videos, Sanctuary Highlights. We made this change because Sanctuary Highlights is the first thing on the menu, so it is the first thing new members & friends explore. We’ve put the Weekly Gatherings right at the top of the Sanctuary Highlights menu, making it the first thing visitors see.
 
 
 
Jacquelyn Eckert – Jacquelyn’s audios are now located on the main menu directly under Regina Dawn Akers. We made this change because Jacquelyn leads more programs than ever before in our Sanctuary, she is beginning to represent Awakening Together through outside speaking engagements and she will offer retreats at the Retreat House. As people become curious about who Jacquelyn is and what her teachings are, they’ll be able to find her more easily under the Audios & Videos main menu.

Featured Guests – We’ve combined the Guest Satsang Interviews and other talks by guests under this one fly-out menu. This is where you will find talks by Craig Holliday, Cate Grieves, Gina Lake, Nirmala and more.

Meditation Audios – We’ve combined Awareness Watching Awareness, Loving Consciousness and Abandon Release Method meditations under one sub-menu called Direct Path Meditation. The purpose of this change is to eliminate the differentiation between three styles of Direct Path meditation by Michael Langford.
