In the past few days there has been talk in the Awakening Together Sanctuary about our rules, about some ‘wrongs’ that have occurred, etc. I am holding a special member meeting on Sunday to share about this controversy. Please come.

A few people have reported having trouble rejoining Awakening Together. They filled out the form to rejoin, but did not receive the second email that allows people to complete the process of becoming a member.
If you did not receive the second email, please check your spam or junk folder.
If the email is not there, please contact us with your address and telephone number, and we will manually enter your name in the new member database.
If you have already received the second email and clicked the subscribe me button, you have completed the rejoin process. No further action is needed.

kly Gathering is Sunday at 10:15am ET in the Awakening Together Sanctuary. Rev. Jacquelyn Eckert’s topic is, “Experiencing Reality / Experiencing the Now”. Rev. Jacquelyn will explore the idea that to recognize the gulf between aliveness itself and anything generated by the mind (however “true” it appears to be) is a liberating discovery and the way to come to know what you deeply are.
Connie Poole will be the reader. She will read from a Jan Frazier teaching, “Consciousness and Chronic Pain”.
“Movies are modern day parables. Watching movies with your inner guide can inform rather than just entertain you. This Spirit Led Movie Watchers Discussion Group will facilitate the participants’ ability to identify spiritual themes in everyday movies and to use movies as a way of uncovering unconscious beliefs about ourselves and the world we live in.”

Why Do I Need to Rejoin?
People sometimes join churches, and then move on, but their name remains on the books as if they are an active member. In order to keep the member list updated with people who consider themselves Awakening Together members now, Awakening Together asks members to reconfirm their membership every third year.
Those who do not rejoin will be given another chance to rejoin in August. If they do not rejoin then, their name will be removed from the Awakening Together membership list. Of course, people may rejoin Awakening Together at any time from our website.

All Awakening Together members are invited to participate in the Minister Preparation Program (MPP). Our Minister Preparation Program is designed to help participants:
MPP consists of an introduction class and two phases:
Introduction to MPP – This is a free 2-hour class and it is required for all members who want to apply for MPP. The purpose of this class is to teach those who feel they may be interested in becoming an Awakening Together minister about Awakening Together and the responsibilities of an Awakening Together minister. If, after completing this two-hour course, a person feels s/he wants to become an Awakening Together minister, that person may apply to join the Minister Preparation Program (MPP).
Phase I – This phase consists of one 11-week True Discernment course and an end-of-phase open book exam. MPP participants must complete Phase I and pass the Phase I exam before continuing to the Phase II curriculum.
Phase II – This phase consists of 14 classes that may be taken in any order and an end-of-phase open book exam. The Phase II courses are:
Introduction to the Bhagavad Gita
Introduction to the Tao Te Ching
The Teachings of Ramana Maharshi
The Teachings of Nisargadatta Maharaj
Introduction to A Course in Miracles
