Open for Registration – The Teachings of Inner Ramana
This class is 3 weeks long.
The Teachings of Inner Ramana came to our founder, Rev. Regina Dawn Akers, in 2009 when she said a prayer asking for something to take her to the next step. It teaches three tools, surrender, mantra and self-inquiry, which work together to help break the addiction to the chattering mind.
In this class you will:
1. Become familiar with surrender as a means of tuning into spiritual intuition for guidance in everyday circumstances.
2. Practice the mantra as a way of gently removing attention from mental chatter.
3. Practice self-inquiry in order to notice that the “I” in thought is only thought.
4. Practice Self-inquiry in order to seek for the true Self.
Class Schedule:
~ On Thursday evenings, February 28 – March 14, 2018 from 7:30am-9:30pm ET. Homework begins February 22. Facilitator: Rev. Helen Avery

Thoughts of Awakening #363
I want only God now.
I want nothing else.
I ask you, Universe, to help me.
I am not afraid to ask.
I understand you are benevolent-love.
I ask benevolent-love
to help me awaken
to only love,
and I trust you.
Amen.

Natural Meditation Retreat ~ Feb 18-22 at the AT Retreat House
Natural Meditation Retreat
February 18-22, 2019
with Regina Dawn Akers
at the
Awakening Together Retreat House
in La Veta, Colorado
February is the quietest time of year in La Veta, so it is the perfect time to spend a week abiding in stillness with a small group of committed friends.
At this retreat, you will learn to focus on the ‘I am’ presence to the exclusion of all else as taught by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj and his guru, Sri Siddharameshwar Maharaj.
Using guidance provided through Nisargadatta’s teachings, you will determine the difference between the ‘I am’ presence and the ego, you will observe how the ego attempts to distract you from the ‘I am’ presence, and you will learn to ignore the ego’s distractions so you can follow the direct path to awakening as Nisargadatta did. You will have ample opportunity for meditation, contemplation and journaling on your own, as well as spending time in group instruction, meditation and discussion. We will also explore how you can continue to be motivated to meditate after you go home from this retreat.
Retreat Schedule
The retreat will begin at 10am on Monday, February 18 and end at 3pm on Friday, February 22. We recommend arriving in La Veta on or before Sunday, February 17 and departing on or after Saturday, February 23. There is a Mitigation and Meditation Retreat the following week, from February 24 – March 1, so you may want to stay and participate in that retreat too.
All guests are welcome to stay at the AT Retreat House for up to 28 days. Longer stays are possible with permission.
Retreat Fee: $200.
$50 non-refundable deposit.
Register
Retreat House lodging cost is separate
from the retreat fee.
