Awakening Together is now ready to accept members!

We are very excited to have you join us as a member if it is your heart’s calling to do so. All of our members agree to the following member covenant:

As a member of Awakening Together, I profess a heart-felt desire to realize one universal truth. I willingly join this assembly of equals committed to discernment and awakening. I accept the assembly’s purpose as my purpose and its core values as my core values. I agree to:

~ Support each member of this assembly on the paths of awakening they feel called to follow.

~ Listen to each member of this assembly, respect each member of this assembly and allow each member to be where he/she is on the divine path of awakening.

~ Practice letting go of the belief that I am a specific and separate individual apart from the whole.

~ Embrace that which my inner wisdom says is helpful to awakening without idolizing any scripture, teaching or teacher as truth itself.

~ Honor all appearances and all experiences as guided by my inner wisdom while continually reflecting on that wisdom and/or changeless truth.

Our First Weekly Gathering, 7-21-13:

Awakening Together’s first weekly gathering was held on July 21, 2013. About fifty members and friends joined us in our online gathering room for the inaugural gathering. An additional 23 people listened to the gathering on the radio.

On Friday, July 5, Sheryl was diagnosed with a brain tumor. On July 7, doctors operated. Now Sheryl begins the journey that follows surgery. She addressed the assembly for the first time on July 15, only one week after surgery. Enjoy this brief audio.

The Teachings of Inner Ramana

Beginning July 21 at 7pm ET, Regina Dawn Akers will share from her book, “The Teachings of Inner Ramana.” This teaching series will continue each Sunday from 7-8pm ET until the entire book has been shared.

“The Teachings of Inner Ramana” is a book that helps us transcend the idea we are limited body-personality-minds and helps us realize the eternal nature that is our truth. It teaches us about the false “I” thought, the idea “I am only this.” Using the path of devotion and the practice of self-inquiry, it leads to the Heart, the Self, “I am that I am” with direct simplicity. Practiced faithfully and consistently, one may find that no other spiritual book is needed.
