Saturday Evening at 8:00 PM ET – The Weekend of Freedom Retreat coming up in June of 2016 showcases many of our regular teachers in the Awakening Together Sanctuary. Join David Fishman, Shiryl Kaplan, Barret Hedeen, Lorri Coburn and other guests in a discussion about the retreat and the use of Spiritual Round Tables.

Our Sunday Gathering with Reverend Gloria Wells starts at 10:15 AM ET. Reverend Gloria’s topic for Sunday is Sufficiency: now is enough because you are.

Kathy Smith is the reader and she will read a chapter from Eckhart Tolle A New Earth: Wanting, the need for more.

Michael Langford Interviews

On April 6, Rev. Regina Dawn Akers interviewed Michael Langford in person near his home in Nevada. Michael is the author of The Most Direct Means to Eternal Bliss, The Seven Steps to Awakening, Manonasa: A Spiritual Autobiography and many other useful spiritual books.

The result of Regina’s April 6 visit with Michael Langford is two one-hour audios. We will play these audios in the Sanctuary on two upcoming Sundays so we can all listen to them together. The first one-hour audio will be played on Sunday, May 1 at 8pm ET.

THE 3 R’S OF FORGIVENESS

You are not trapped in the world you see, because its cause can be changed. This change requires, first, that the cause be identified and then [second] let go, so that [third] it can be replaced. The first two steps in this process require your cooperation. The final one does not (A Course in Miracles Workbook, W-pI.23.5:1-4).

There is a prayer the Course urges us to use whenever we are not joyous, and it contains within it the three steps we are describing:

I must have decided wrongly, because I am not at peace.
I made the decision myself, but I can also decide otherwise.
I want to decide otherwise, because I want to be at peace.
I do not feel guilty, because the Holy Spirit will undo all the
consequences of my wrong decision if I will let Him.
I choose to let Him, by allowing Him to decide for God for me.
