MPP Consists of an Introduction Class and Two Phases:
Introduction to MPP – This is a free 2-hour class and it is required for all members who want to apply for MPP. The purpose of this class is to teach those who feel they may be interested in becoming an Awakening Together minister about Awakening Together and the responsibilities of an Awakening Together minister. If, after completing this two-hour course, a person feels s/he wants to become an Awakening Together minister, that person may apply to join the Minister Preparation Program (MPP).
Phase I – This phase consists of one 11-week True Discernment course and an end-of-phase open book exam. MPP participants must complete Phase I and pass the Phase I exam before continuing to the Phase II curriculum.
Phase II – This phase consists of 14 classes that may be taken in any order and an end-of-phase open book exam. The Phase II courses are:
True Meditation, Introduction to the Bhagavad Gita, Introduction to the Tao Te Ching, Understanding Purification, Introduction to Buddhism, Introduction to NTI, Jesus of the New Testament, Introduction to Sufism, Introduction to Kabbalah, The Teachings of Ramana Maharshi, The Teachings of Nisargadatta Maharaj, Introduction to A Course in Miracles, The Teachings of Inner Ramana and Being an Awakening Together Minister.
