About The Nines:  “You’re not who you think you are”

This film is broken into three chapters centred around three men (all played by Ryan Reynolds) who try to uncover the secret about strange happenings in their, at times overlapping, lives.  For the Hollywood player with the right job description and available technology, isn’t it tempting to imagine being God? A video-game designer or a reality-television director, as omnipotent creator and manipulator of a discrete little world, may fancy himself possessor of the keys to the kingdom.  Watch the three parts carefully, “The Prisoner”, “Reality Television” and “Knowing” – all symbolic of our own dilemmas in this world.
